SES Application
General Information

Students from low income families that attend schools in Program Improvement Year 2 or more are eligible to apply to receive free tutoring through Supplemental Educational Services (SES).

Applications for the 2013-14 SES Program are being accepted through September 13. Students who attend a Program Improvement 2 or higher school and who are enrolled in the Free/Reduced Meal program are eligible to apply. Application packets are mailed to the homes of qualifying families. Applications must be returned to the SUSD SES Office or to the Main Office of your child's school.

All students must apply for the program. Unfortunately, not all students will be accepted into the program. Priority for enrollment is based on standardized test schools from the previous school year. Parents must make sure to sign the application form; applications without signatures will be discarded.

A 2-page summary of the types of services offered by the tutoring companies that have contracted to provide SES this school year.

SUSD SES Program Provider Fair Flyer.pdf
SUSD is hosting a fair for families to meet with Providers and learn more about their programs. The fair is schedule for Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 9am to 3pm in the Main Gym of Edison High School. Attendance is free of charge and parents are encouraged to attend and meet with the various tutoring company representatives. Application forms are available also available at the Fair.
