- PRINCIPAL'S VISION -

ELMWOOD ELEMENTARY MISSION STATEMENT
The staff at Elmwood Elementary School believes unwaveringly that all students can achieve high academic standards through the infusion of the arts. Through the arts we will be able to see and hear the achievements of all students. Students will understand how to think deeply and then be able to apply knowledge in new ways. By infusing the arts into daily academic instruction, students will achieve real and significant academic growth. We KNOW that through arts infusion Elmwood School is educating the creative and intellectual side of the human personality thus, educating the whole child.

Principal's Message

Reading and Writing:
“A Two-Way Street”

Reading can make your child a better writer, and writing can make her a better reader. Help her take advantage of the link between the two subjects with these ideas.

School’s 2nd Annual Arts Infusion Open House”

On Friday, March 9th Elmwood School again hosted our annual “Arts Infusion Open House.” The Elmwood School community was invited to visit our classrooms throughout the day and observe how our Teachers and Support Staff use “Arts Infusion” to educate the creative and intellectual side of the human personality. It is our goal to educate the “Whole Child!” Besides the classroom visitations, we also had Student Performances and a Visual Arts Showcase. It was great to see so many parents visit our school and even take part in the learning with their children! We thank everyone for visiting and helping make Elmwood School a Special Place!!
