LOVE STOCKTON! Project came to SUSD Schools

The www.LoveStockton.com  Organization is a group of volunteers, organized by many churches in Stockton, who come together on a specific day to complete projects and make a difference in the City of Stockton. On Saturday, September 29, Love Stockton members reported to the adopted schools below and performed a variety of tasks from: weeding, gardening, trimming trees, washing under eaves, decorating teachers’ lounge areas, organizing clothes closets, creating bulletin boards in hallways and classrooms, etc.

Over twenty schools submitted a request and most were adopted for this wonderful event. This is the second year that Stockton Unified has participated in this city-wide event. Through hard work and planning, the school and church communities work hand in hand to complete the many projects that help to make the school campus’ attractive and neat.
